This may seem like a stupid question to some of you but i was talking to my brother about b18's and such and we got on the tpic of turbo's and he says "its not good to have vtec and a turbo". I want to know if that is true. I plan to go turbo so is it better to go vtec turbo or nonvtec turbo?

Thanks!!!!!

vtec+ boost= paradise. Just that it's harder to tune with vtec than nonvtec.

On a d-series motor it is fine. He is probably telling you this because during Vtec activation, you fuel leans out a little bit, a lean out with a turbo leads to bad things as we all know. On a b-series motor it is a little different because of the way they are set up. An ls is a good boost motor because of the low compression, a gsr is a little more dangerous due to higher compression (a little thanks to vtec) but due to more aggressive parts. Hope this was a decent bit of information. Someone correct me if I happen to be wrong.
