i just got a d15b8 and im trying to use it for a mini me.
will it be better to use a d15b2 or a d15b7?
i noticed that the d15b8 has a slite dome on the piston.
will that give me higher compression then using a b2 or a b7.
im going to be using a z6 head.
using the d15b8 block with the z6 head would it give me more power then using a b2,b7,or zc single cam vtec block?
ide appreasiate any help that would be givin to me thanxs.

my 92 cx had 4 valve relief pistons, i guess it could have been a newer engine although i have never seen a b8 with the 8 valve relief pistons. Are those pm8's the same as the 88-91 crx hf d15b6 pistons?

reguardless, if you have a cx bottom end with 4 valve relief pistons you can consider it the SAME exact thing as a d15b2, d15b1, d15b7, 88-91 d15b

imo a mini me is worthless... for what youll pay you can pick up a complete 1.6 for not much more... with so much more potential if you plan to go turbo or add any nitrous etc....
if you're going turbo...why would you go minime and bump up the compression?

you can spray on a mini me too.

let's see...for what i paid...about $150 to build my mini me, or $300 for a new longblock which would most likely also be a 1.5 (d15b vtec) or $350+ for high mileage usdm 1.6L
but this is just my opinion.
