which engine would be better for a n/a application? anyone got the technical specs for the f20a, such as how much heavier it is and it overall performance!
oh and how difficult will this swap be for a 92 civic sedan?

theoretically the F would be since the internals are stronger but they are just as hard to swap in as an H series is so if you have to choose between the two, just stick with the B7.

Remember getting a D is better than getting an F.
So...does this mean that getting a B is better than a D(jk), and where do the K's fall?

Basically the F motor sucks because it's not a D. Remember getting a D is better than getting an F.
this is a false statement. stock for stock, the F series wins hands down. it has a larger displacement, larger intake AND exhaust ports, larger valves and a bigger cam. Swapping an F series into an ef chassis is fairly difficult, but swapping into a 92+ is much easier. the mounts are cheaper, and there is little to no cutting or welding involved. and to make it better, Hseries stuff bolts up, (yes even the heads).

the d15b7 is one of the tinyest dseries motors. 1.5l displacement, 75mm bore, pretty small intake and exhaust ports, smaller valves, smaller camshaft. Now, for the d15's, this isn't the smallest one, but its one of the smallest. ahead of only the d15b2, b8 b6 and b1, 2 of these being 8 valve and the other 2 dpfi from the factory. also with since this is dseries, you're basically limited to mini-me's, cam swaps, manifold swaps and tb swaps.

imo, if you have the resources (i.e the motor laying around, money for mounts, cutting tools and knowledge of how to swap), id swap for the fseries. there is so much potential for hybrid f/hseries motors. you can swap heads, tensioners, pistons, rods, intake manifolds, exhaust manifolds, etc.

so in short, if you take your car and a carbon copy, one has an F (with similar mods) one has your D, the F will probably prevail.
