doing a budget build on a d15b7 currently its running on a web cams 148e with y7 cam gear full exhaust 2.5"

soon I will be swapping the head gasket for a y8 one and shaving .03" off the head as well as z6 intake manifold and cold air intake

thinking about doing neptune and e85 also. Would doing e85 on this setup increase power???

E85 always increases the power, but at what cost?

agreed, and the gains may not be as much as youd think. you may only gain 4whp for 1000rpm in the midrange.

ben text me tomorrow, well talk.

I need to look at local E85 pump prices as compared to 93, I think the difference is equal now to offset the extra amount needed. I'm not planning on switching though, CRX is fine on 87, but prefers 89.

If your source of e85 is cheap and easy to get to, I'd run 12:1+CR with it if you're going to stay N/A.

You'd pick up power a little bit of power just from being able to bump the timing up with nothing else.

about 1.60 a gallon here for E85, 2.00 for 87, 2.60 for Shell or BP 93...
