Hey everyone new guy to the Honda scene bought a mini me swap from a friend and had a few questions.
The motor has a 272 cam and the cam gear has been adjusted to 4.5 degrees advanced, motor runs great btw just waiting on a chipped p28 to come in. What worries me is that once I hit vtec I might run into piston/valve interference is this possible? I've looked around and a stock z6 head on a b2 is no big deal but what about with a larger cam? mine has an adjustable cam gear so I can always adjust it to wherever just wanted to hear what I should do as far as cam degrees. any help is greatly appreciated thanks everyone.

how can I manually engage vtec? I know you have to blow air into the passage just not sure how to do this on a d series.
