Im trying to see what is better to do, a D15B swap on my 95 dx or a Head swap from a EX/Si. Which one will give me better results and is easier to put in?

Im not sure on differences in overall HP, it cant be much....but i would think the full swap......especially if your engine has high miles.....the lower the miles the better, odds are the D15B will have the lower miles........

The head swap will be slightly less work, and a little cheaper....

Either way dont forget to buy a p28 ecu for VTEC.....and either way you will have to do some wiring for vtec as well.

With a swap like that, what do you need, if you know?

VTEC head
D16Z6 timing belt
head gasket
VTEC ECU p28 (5spd -if you have a 5spd. auto if you have an auto)
Vtec distributor (from a D16Z6)
D16Z6 injectors, FPR, rail
wire to wire for VTEC

thats all I can think of at the moment, maybe some one will post more!!!

you can also go to www.d-a-p.com and get the number to call them.their prices are good and service is excellent. also you might want to try a vx timing belt ive heard the ex/si belts whine a little because they are tighter. good luck
