Previous owner did a d swap into a 1991 honda crx si that I purchased from him. The motor is a d15B 3-stage v-tec with the stock Pm6-A09 ecu. It looked like he kept the stock engine harness too.

If I get a p28 ECU, what harness should I get to run to complete the swap? the radiator fans, oxygen sensors, v-tec solenoids etc arent hooked up.


please help

once running, d15b with its 3 stages fully working is okay performance, and great gas mileage (its main reason for being 3 stage)

If it's a 3-stage, then you need the right ECU that supports 3-stage VTEC - that should be a P2J, as mentioned above. There have also been other D15B engines without that (I think there was one without VTEC and one with normal VTEC). Confirm by checking if it has the intake manifold with the big plenum and the VTEC valve with 2 solenoids (tin cans) like in this picture:
