So I've got a 94 sol d15b, but the trans is basically shot. Theres no 2nd gear shot. I picked up a d series trans for $50, and already have a new clutch kit to go in it, but are there any other concerns I should have? Like speed sensors, axles ect?

I know all d series engines and trans bolt right up i was just trying to get the little details before I start the teardown.

Thanks

easiest way to think about the interchangability of the transmissions, just remember 2 things to MATCH. hydraulic or cable clutch, and bar or cable shifter.

88-91 is cable clutch, bar shift,
92-00 is hydraulic clutch, bar shifter,
01-05 is hydraulic clutch, cable shifter

Match sensors and whatnot to the year of your chassis. Generally, 92-00 is fully interchangable, no worries.

no 92-00 D15/16 series civic came with a halfshaft in america. you have one long and one shorter axle, and you should stick to the chassis you are using currently, 92-95 civic // 93-97 del sol, or 96-00 civic
