Hey,
I'm new here, i got a little knowledge around these d series motors.
I've searched and read your guys threads on hybrid d series and mini me's. Most are well informative and simple to understand.
Its a long post but bare with me lol ;)
I wanna build a motor with stock parts. Since I will be racing this and the rules don't allow Aftermarket parts.
I got a 1994 civic dx coupe.

CRITICISM/SUGGESTIONS ARE HIGHLY RECOMMENDED THANK YOU FOR LOOKING

So I'm looking at choosing one of the three blocks to go have redone.
1) d15b7
2) d16a6.
3) d16z6
I'm leaning towards the d16a6.
Gonna have the block bored .020 and slap in some p29 pistons(88-89 teg) I've read about LS rods, not sure which ones to use and if I have to do any mods?

- Not sure what head to run, I've heard you loose low end running vtec but is it a huge difference?
but the difference between running a z6 head and a6 head is like 12:1 compared to 11:1

Intake: I heard y8 flows better then z6. Is the y8 a direct bolt on, plug and play.

Running this on a z6 tranny.
Can I plug and play a p72 ecu for (4400 vtec kick in)

Let me know what you guys think, I'm looking for ideas.
Track is a quarter mile circle track. So the straight isn't that long So thats why I'm looking for low end power

Thx for reading
