So today I started on the tediouse task of changing my clutch with the help of a couple friends. After quite a long day of trouble shooting how to get the trans dropped, I've decided to ask for some help. The problem we ran into was how to get the axles unhooked from the transmission. What's the easier way of getting those damn axles out? THANKS

Oh and BTW the rex's got a D16z6 swapped in, just incase that changes anything.
a nice flat head screwdriver should do the trick. also youll probly need an air hammer to get the pin out for the shift linkage. good luck.

Just pry the axle out with it.

Just get a hammer and a punch to get the pin out of the linkage. I just did it on Friday when putting on my sway bar. Took like 15-20 wacks.

you unbolted the knuckle right? pull it out of the way and use a screwdriver or prybar to pry the axle out of the trans
