I think I already know the answer to this question... but i'm about to install a '90 CRX Si trans in my '90 EX sedan... the guy i bought it from says it was in good condition with no grinds etc... is there any easy way to check if it really is good while its sittin in my room?

Mines been ripped for about 4 years if that makes you feel any better.
Whatcha doin with your EX tranny? They are pretty rare you know. It's got the 4.0 final drive compared to the Si's 4.25 and Dx's 3.88.

Yeah, that;s what I thought. When I found that out, I had to get one.
Gonna swap it in my CRX when I pull the motor out to change the oil pump and replace the bearings. I hope it solves a lot of my traction issues!

the bearings are shot... makin some noise.. so i'm probably gonna replace those and keep it as a backup.. but who knows.. everything is for sale.. make me an offer :TU:
