CRX 1.5 Engine mods

Hi, I am a newbie here and have a honda crx 1.5 dual carb.
Was wondering if there were any entry level modifications that could be done to the engine. I have heard that weber carbs could be used to replace the standard ones. Any ideas? Apologies if this has been answered elsewhere.
