So im slowly learning more and more about Honda's and avaliable mods etc...

Im thinking of doing a Mini-me swap along with other supporting performance mods.

NOW, im just wondering if anyone could help me out by explaining how exactly crower stage 3 cams work and if they are a good idea on a d15b7/d16z6 mini me.
(as far as i know im presuming they just offer a higher cam profile allowing more tappet opening?)

I have been doing some searching to see what i can learn for myself so don't get me wrong im not lazyyy. But i thought id ask the experts on here what they think and know.

[p.s. ive heard that adjustable cam gears come in handy with these? again something i require further knowledge on)

Thankyou!

The cam is connected to the crankshaft via gears/belt. the motor spins, the lumps(lobes) on the cam puch the valves open. Air/fuel go in........

Cam gears will let you adj the cam timing to where it needs to be, or raise or lower the powerband SLIGHTLY.
