Hi everyone I have a zc dohc and is fairly stock besides a good header and 2 1/4" exhaust but I have managed to get my hands on a set of crespo stage 2 camshafts... I race circle track so I was going to throw these cams in for a few nights would it be ok with stock springs and retainers???? Has anybody done this???

RPM--2300-7800 rpm down the straight

thanks for any advice

Don't. Crespo cams are weird and/or will destroy your engine if they aren't ground properly, which happens more often than they would like, I 'm sure.

And stock springs are good for over 8500RPM on nearly any cam you can attempt to run on a mostly reasonable engine build.

Call Geoff at Colt cams.

If you feel you MUST have springs, get in touch with KMS.

You will need to tune, also.
