Hi from the uk

I have a 2000 coupe d16y7 auto with a manual conversion that I picked up a few month back.

long story short I can’t seem to get the TPS calibrated correctly. Regardless what I try I get 0.7v closed and 5.2v instead of the 0.45/4.5v that I’ve read it should be. The TPS is lined up in the slot and the adjustment on the screws only increases the voltage and the idle is fully closed.

the idle isnt quite right either. Cold start is at 2000 and can go up to 2500 if it feels like it. It doesn’t want to swap to hot idle mid journey but if I re-start hot then the idle drops to 1000-750rpm when stood. After restarting hot as you are driving and stop at a junction etc the revs sit at 1500 and after a few seconds drop to 1000.

Is the TPS calibration ok? If not what am I missing?
Is the idling issue mostly down to the iavc not fully working?

any help would be great

replace the tps and see if it falls in range, after you clean the iacv and adjust the throttle body bleed screw

Make sure the throttlestop is not sticking out too far.
Make sure the fingers on the TPS "base shaft" are not shifted over or bent.
Linked for pictures.

cheap aftermarket TPS are garbage, so if it was under $25 or so, its a good chance of failure right out of the box
