This recipe was given to me by a very good friend of mine, and I've enjoyed it ever since I first consumed it. Seeing as to how I was preparing this dish for a potluck BBQ for the Local Forum I'm a part of, I figured I'd go ahead and share this with D-Series.org:

ArtyG's Corn Casserole

Ingredients:
1 Can Whole Corn (drained)
1 Can Cream Corn
1 Package Jiffy Cornbread Mix
8 oz. Sour Cream
2 Eggs (beaten)
1 stick Butter

Step 1: Melt stick of butter in pan.

Step 2: Mix cans of Whole Corn (drained) and Cream Corn into melted butter in pan.

Step 3: Let corn/butter mix simmer for five (5) minutes.

Step 4: Set the oven to Pre-Heat at 375*F:

...and in the meantime, go ahead and whisk the eggs...

...and grease the casserole pan.

This is what your corn/butter mixture should like like after simmering.

Step 5: Remove the corn/butter mixture from heat, and prepare to mix in the Jiffy, Sour Cream, and Eggs into the mix...

...all of the above ingredients in the pan...

...after stirring everything together...

Step 6: Pour the mixture into the casserole pan:

Step 7: Salt/Pepper your mixture to your own personal taste.

Step 8: Once the oven is pre-heated to 375*F, it's time to bake the casserole for forty-five (45) minutes.

Step 9: After baking, this is what it should look like.

Let cool for a few minutes, and enjoy immediately. This tastes even better the next day, after you reheat it at the same temperature for about twenty (20) minutes before consuming.

Bon appetit!

What? No picture of a nice, fresh, steaming hot piece with a huge slab of butter on it? (can you tell I'm hungry?)
