i keep hearing about this compression calculator and i cant find it. i have a 99 civic ex and i threw a rod outuv it and i need to swap the head over to the new block that i have for it but i was thinking of having the head milled in the process. the heads a y8 and the block is a y8. its gonna get milled 20 thousandths and id like to know which head gasket to use with it to eak out a lil more compression and wut kind of ration i will be looking at when its done. also after milling the head will i have any issues with the timing belt tension? thanx for your help guys!!!

if you dont mill it so much, you will be fine with the timing belt tension, and 20 thousandths isn't very much.

if you are really insecure about the tension of the timing belt, then use a vx belt, it's one less tooth, but i'm saying you dont need to with your setup.
