So I was working on my car last night.. simple clutch cable change. Went to turn my car on, and all its sudden it won't kick over... I read up some on it.. and I'm getting ignition control module?..so I said fuck it, bought a whole new dizzy. Fixed nothing!! I'm hologram someone else has run across this and found the problem.. please help!!!

Are you getting power at the distributor harness? Did you bump the connector?

It's an 89 hatchback. Zc block z6 head. Using the z6 dizzy....

Just to satisfy myself, I'm going to inform you of what my problem was. Come to find out, my wiring was wrong. Apparently I have an obd0 harness that's rewired to obd1 w/clip. Idk, but whatever. So after switching back and forth from wiring diagrams, I finally got it right. Started right up, no problems. What I'm guessing happened is when I was changing the clutch cable, I must have pulled a pin out from one end of the clip. Go figure, gotta love it!
