possibel with acces to a cnc shop with all the goodies?


a friend want do a Honda city turbo replica but its near impossibel to find turbo rods

should work or ?

take the oem rod and make a stronger replica out of billet steel
just a simpel design like this


is there something that realy need special attention?

This is not going to be as easy as you think. Unless you're good in solidworks (or a similar software) and have access can do all of the work yourself then a one off set of rods is going to be $$$.

Check with Bisimoto they can make a custom aluminum rod the good is that there light and are very bearing friendly
The bad is that they have about a 40k mile lifespan and cost about 600 bucks
i love bisi stuff but.......... 40k lifespan:bs:

US ppl always forget

In germany we put a shitload more stress on our engines.No general speedlimit at the highway (autobahn)

but thats not the topic

Trust me these rods are built for stress talk to Bisi about them and see what he thinks I would use em for a track car 600 bucks every 2 seasons aint bad and they absorb shock. Just a FYI
