Hey Guys, hope you all are having a great Sunday.

So just yesterday I drove my car but something was off. Every time i went over 3000 RPM in 2nd,3rd,4th and 5th gear i realized engine revving abnormally fast and not gaining any speed.
So my guess is my clutch is slipping but why? I went under the car to have a look and saw that I have an oil pan leak.
Is it even possible that oil got on the clutch and now its slipping?

One way to confirm or deny, might as well get a rear main, oil pan gasket and a clutch kit, or it's worn out and the oil is just the coup d'etat

Gonna start dismantling it tonight.
Im going to try to remove the oil pan because im suspecting that its leaking at the gasket where it meets the transmission. Is there a way to find out whether its a rear main seal or not without removing the transmission?

Put car on ramps, add UV dye to the oil, remove any clutch inspection covers, then crank the engine and lay under the car with a UV flashlight, shine and watch the area as the engine warms up.

You'll be able to see if its rear main vs pan this way.

UV dye kits can typically be had for between $20-30 usd, and comes with dye, pen light, goggles and batteries for the light.

You can pull the starter and get a mirror behind the flywheel, if its nice and wet it's likely rear main, if instead the pressure plate is wet it's your isb and mainshaft seal.

Didn't see what car this is for, but if it's cable clutch check the cable hasn't been adjusted too tight.
