Yes the DIY is; buy a new cable and replace it yourself. First crawl under the dash and pop the retainer out of the clutch pedal, then pull the old cable out. Insert new cable and pop retainer into clutch pedal. Fish the cable back into the brackets back the adjuster all the way out, pop the clutch arm around the new cable. To set the base adjustment on the cable, pull on the part that comes straight up from the tranny, then spin the adjuster all the way down. Keep lifting the cable until you are unable to pull on it without moving the clutch arm. Throw old parts in trash, do a burnout and get an ice cream, you're done.
