hey guys, im putting the clutch and flywheel on my Y8 and when i try to torque the pressure plate down the flywheel moves, how do i stop this? same way as the flywheel?

My $0.03 solution is an old fuel tank strap with a few holes drilled in it. You could literally use any piece of metal with some holes drilled in it, like angle iron, flat stock, etc.

One hole in the piece of metal to a block-bellhousing bolt, another hole in the piece of metal to a flywheel pressure plate bolt hole.

Get it situated so that when you torque the flywheel bolts, the tension on the piece of metal is a pulling force.

By using bolts for this, there is no chance it can ever slip off.

Its a common GM/Ford thing. Torque converter bolts too. Not sure what the pros/cons of that style is.
