i have an 89 civic wagon with rt4wd. on hondacivicwagon.com it says that you could either take out the vicious coupling in the center of the driveshaft and get a custom one made to permanently engage the 4wd, or weld the vicious coupling together. now we run into a problem with the rear diff and transfer case. they weren't designed to withstand constant power so i was wondering if anyone has ever heard of a beefed up transfer case and/or rear diff for the civic wagon. i dont want to weld the vicious coupling because its obviously not going to be as reliable. any help from people who have tried this or accomplished it would be great.
