Hello, I'm slowly putting together parts for a MPFI swap for my d15b2. I found a z6 intake with tb at my local junk yard an picked it up. Upon removing the tb I noticed that the intake manifold had what appeared to be chips.

Is this manifold still good or should I just get another? Thanks in advanced.

They are there due to honda re-using many of their castings. Notice you have a carbon black spot where the throttlebody wants to flow air? perfect example of how thigns are not all "perfectly" matching

I suppose then it shouldn't cause any problems then correct?

From my observation the casting marks align with some cutouts of the tb.

nope, no problems. Like Slo said, just do your check for any leaks when everything is assembled. Just because it came factory, doesnt mean that perhaps an aftermarket/3rd party gasket might not seal as well.

I personally have had issues only with those uber cheap full gasket kits, wehre they make everything out of goddamn pixie dust and dreams.
