ok i picked up a non scored a6 crank
bearings were not sup or anything

I have plati gauge stuff here , but rather not buy bearings and they not work

so what numbers do i compare the spec of the crank to?
Or should I just get std bearings and move foward with the plsti gauge?
I have the old mains and no rod bearings. But the mains say
well look like this so im unsure of the size of them

My first build I compared the crank numbers to the block numbers and used the little chart in my service manual....they were WAY off

I ended up buying Honda Greens, plastigauging, and then buying bearings based on the results.

The last build i did, i just used ACL STDs, plastigauged and they were "close enough". Loose is fast ;)

Exactly what I did/do. Have STD ACLs to measure, if good then roll with them. If not, buy halves from Honda and re-plastigage it. I too let my boost build roll with looser tolerances...loose IS fast!
