I Have A Y7 , I want to know if i can interchange the gears from another
tranny, or buy after market gears that will fit my tranny to make it a closer ratio than the stock since my 3rd gear runs from 60 mph to 100 mph when im shifting at redline. Thx

just buy a EX tranny, alot easier and cheaper.

Will that make alot of difference in my mph/Rpm.
What shouldt i look for when i purchuse a tranny is there a
a serial or Id number to look for.

the Y8 tranny should be P4B/BOOO for the EX (large bearing) gearbox.
