Wow thats wild, because i currently have a 96 EX converter on my CRX, and it fit perfect?? But i need to get a cat for the CRX, so i can put my Civics back on, and i got one from supposivly a hatch, and its too short, like 1 inch shorter than it needs to be.

My CRX has a header on it, and im not sure what year its from, i think that the Pre EF's have longer Header pipes, on it, so that way the cat is shorter??? maybe thats it.

dude i tried it between the 88-91 crx with the 92-95 civic, there's a difference in length, but it's not by too much. is that good enough to convince you it's not the same.

it might work if you pull or push the exhaust a little depending on if your cat is shorter or longer.
