Some of you guys already know me and my build. 98 Ford escort with a turbocharged D16 swap.

my main goal isn't numbers but a fun street car.

I already have both manifolds, so i wouldn't be buying anything, just need to take the time to swap them out.
T3/t4 50 trim .48 exhaust housing
Boost controller set at 20- 25 psi
ported head
8.5:1 compression forged pistons and H beam rods
stage 2 blox cam
1000cc injectors
Edelbrock intake
70mm tb

I have a ram horn on the car now, and know the cast manifold spools earlier than this one, but was wondering if I put the cast one back on if I'd be losing too muchtop end to make Iit worth the quicker spool time?

ramhorn, more horsepower, better breathing, can make more boost. Your turbo seems small enough to still spool quickly.

With the cast manifold it had 5 psi before 3,000 rpm, 15 psi about 4,000 rpm and peeked 25ish psi from about 5,000 to redline

and how does that compare to the ram horn? IF you havent had it on there then slap it on and see if there is any difference then

The ram horn is on it now, just haven't had a chance to push it to see boost yet, just took it for a light short drive around the block to check my tranny

well, once you get a chance to open her up and see when, where, and how strong everything comes on then report back

real world testing on your setup is a big plus. But I thing the cast mani is going to suite your needs.

BTW is it a full ram or a mini ram?

What "ramhorn" manifold is it?

The cast manifold is pretty good, especially considering the ~$120 price. If youre current manifold is some thin walled ebay special, Id swap it out for the cast and sell it to some poor soul on craigslist.
