Welcoem to D-series..I would think that if you gewt one and are worried about the elements since you don't have a garage then maybe spend hte $$ on the hood. Then once you get it first put a good coat of wax on it. Then maybe invest in a good car cover for that litle bit extra.
If you keep the hood waxed I would say that there won't be any problems/issues..
Shoot i live in NOrth Dakota... I just take off my CF hood.. and put it in my friends basement... until march! I spent too much money to have that thing crack or something worse happen to it... maybe im just worried to much, but its better to be safe than sorry.
i had bad luck in canda with my cf hood first it flew up and cracked the clearcoat and streched the cf. next i hit a woman frum behind and split the two layers of the hood all wuz fine for like 2 months when i wuz driving and the cf rolled back and flew off. everyone told me i should take off the hood in the winter but i didnt listen. my hood standed the weather fine i didnt treat any differently than a stock one so take it off if ur paranoid.

So, I have a 1995 Civic Ferio Vi, with a D15B (two stage vtec) engine in it. Imported from Japan, so all JDM parts.
But... Something backed off the bolt on my main pulley (AKA harmonic balancer), and it got damaged. So, now to find one.
For you say anything I've done the search of done four searches and after getting to the 20th page I give up . My plan is to use a D15B7 and put the Max peating rod rods which are higher at 134.5 mm which is only at half a millimeter larger than stock rods. Along with this I plan for a z6 head...
Has anyone here actually used the Delta 260 "torque grind" or known someone who has? I'm curious about it's performance for a daily driver...
Also, has anyone used the 272 and played with the cam timing? What was the best setting for your build?
Any other info would be appreciated as well...
I am new to this site, I have been trying to get some help from other sites for about 2 weeks now and haven't gotten a single reply yet, hopefully this site will be quicker and better suited for my needs.
I have a 97 hatchback with a rebuilt d16y7, and the acura 5spd transmission.
