Went out to start my 95 Civic DX and it cranked started to go and then died. Would not restart but cranks good and battery seemed OK. It had been starting kind of hard since the weather turned cold so I tested the battery and it was not so great so put in a new battery. Car again cranks and tries to fire up but will not. What might it be? Wanted some opinions before I start taking stuff out. My thoughts are either the fuel pump or the starter.

Thanks for the help,
Anthony

If the car cranks its not the starter. More than likely its the fuel pump relay.
Heres a way to check it. Turn the key to on position. Your check engine light should come on, then you should here the pump kick on, then the light should go off. If the pump doesn't kick on. Under the dash on the drivers side, behind the fuse box. There is a relay. Should be near the kick panel.
Anyways. Turn the key back on, while holding the relay. If you don't feel the relay click. Then the relay is bad. Try to shake it, they usually will click over and work.
