If it does NOT crank the engine, it is NOT the immobilizers fault quite yet.
The immobilizer does not stop you from rotating the engine over.
Depending on years, it was fuel pump, then fuel pump AND injectors, then finally pump, injectors, and coils.
Eitehr way, check the starter first. Add a ground wire from the transmission to the battery and try again.
