I want to see if im running way too much timing cause im liftin gheads.

i want to see y8 head timing. I looked on xenocron and what i saw there basicly backed up what i am thinking. Right now at 17 psi i am at 12.5 degree of timing.

If everything is synched that shouldn't be exessive on your setup. It shouldn't lift a head is what I mean. What spark plugs are you using and how aggressive is the ingition ramp at partial throttle low psi

I can boost on 10 psi all day long and not get head lift...but as soon as i hit higher i get lift.

ALso when i am on the dynojet no head lift on 3 seperate places. As soon as i get my car on the street and get load boom lift...

here is my ignition maps

this is what the y8 maps i have been looking at looks like

i would say thats a little too much timing. a good starting point is 2* per lb of boost, and with a p28 rom that gives you 11* of timing at 17.5psi

try pulling more timing and see if it fixes your head lift issue

lobster, you gotta tell us what cam gear you are using

since you are running obd1 your timing maps will look more advanced than they actually are. this is the nature of the beast when running a Y8 on OBD1
