Ive used it and not used it on the same car. Same results just more cleanup for the next time. If the surfaces aren't flat it isn't going to seal with a MLS gasket, it's that simple, it's not a bad thing and it won't hurt your car... it's just useless for this job.

I personally would never use copper spray on a h.g. but, other people use it, sooooooooo.

I have used them on exhaust gsaskets tho.

You are going to get the head cleaned and shaved tho right?

Use gold paint, skip the head gasket all together!

I can't believe it worked for Luke, but it did!

Uhhh.. Shaved, yes. Cleaned, no. Should I tell the machine shop to do it? I just dropped it off. Can I do it with household products?? I see people saying acetone, brake cleaner, all kind of shit. I don't trust any of it honestly.

Gotcha! What do you use to clean the block after scraping the old gasket off?
