i ppl , im doing a Z6 swap into my EK , and i noticed that the z6 Tb have a FITV into his bottom , but the intake manifold that i bought from a D16Z9 dont have a extra coolant line to fit in the FITV , so i ask you if i can eliminate this valve ? what anomalie can i cause from that? thx ppl

it will be fine. my car came with one and i eliminated it. It runs without one and i have no problems... i

It's only needed for cold starts, and even then, it's questionable... The Y8 doesn't have one from factory, and I don't think it has any kind of equivilent either...

Also, blocking it off supposedly drops your intake charge temp since the TB is not being warmed up by your coolant anymore...

but did you removed it from the TB? what did you put in there in substitute? a plate?

mine is still attached.i made a silod gasket with some gasket material that just blocks off the holes.
