Can a D16 Zex camshaft fit or use on a D15 engine? Will there be any problems like idling? What are the pros and cons? Thanks.

is it the JDM d15b vtec?.....if so im pretty sure you can because the JDM d15b is just a d15 block with a z6 head but im only 90% positive as long as there both 16 valve vtec yes

Hi, thanks for your reply, nt too sure about the JDM part, but my engine is the one with 3 stage vtec, switching between 12 and 16 valve at different rpm. So i presume there is a 16 valve vtec.

if you have a 3 stage vtec motor and ecu, i would buy a cam to run the 3 stage vtec. otherwise it will be not so smooth of a transition.
