Hey everyone. im new to this forum but not really a noobie.
i have a 99-00 civic D14Z2 that i turboed.

I think i got off to a pretty good start. here comes where i need you insight. i havent really done much internal work besides new pistons. I NEED TO GET A CAMSHAFT!!!! not such an easy task for an economy engine ( d14) . since i know that so far my engine has been compatible with parts for the d16 engine, i'd like to know if an exospeed non-vtec camshaft for the d16a6 will work on my d14 since they are in my opinion similar besides displacement wise.

ur rite christopher, the turbo lag is ridiculous. i have plans to change the turbo altogether or simply change my rear housing. the downpipe i have helps a lot but i still get boost around like 4k RPM on 1st gear which is silly considering the work i've already put into the engine. would recirculating my bov make that much of a difference?!?! i have to say also that im being conservative since i havent done much to the internals. my wastegate is set to 6 or 7 psi only.
and also to SOHCinWA and cryz2, thx 4 the insight. i'll try it and see what comes up. but u guys trust bisimoto more than exospeed and cranecams ?
