Looking for high 200s low 300s hp with 180+ ft lb on e85 from a 1.5L 12ish:1 static compression z6 head on a z1 block (+0.75mm length rods, GX pistons or forged upgrade). Boost provided by the Kraftwerks d series kit Or similar if I can find a way to keep AC. Wasn't there a shaft drive kit that put the SC on the right hand side of the car? It's hot here in SoCal...

I'm sure cam selection will be critical in making this work and I need a bit of help with what might be out there for the z6 head that isn't going to have me buying one cam after another and another and so on.

Use is going to be primarily for weekend canyon runs and the odd road trip.

I'm not at all interested in going the turbo route, I know :wtf: but in reality I like what I'm seeing with power delivery from the centrifugal supercharger, and a turbo sized to do the same thing is not exactly eye candy; and I have to admit this matters to me enough to nix the turbo option.

All is in planning stages now so I've nothing to show, short of a just purchased a very tired and abused 92 teal VX. I am not a fan of this color at all.

I need to get the suspension, brakes, and safety sorted out first,

You’ll want to find a cam that provides increased lift with the smallest amount of overlap increase. I don’t know specifics for cams in that head so you’ll need to do a bit of research. Luckily you have more flexibility than I did since blanks are (I believe) still available for the Z6 so you’re not stuck with a regrind.
