What I meant was, when you adjust the cam gear, I've heard that you are suppose to jump an ECU port or something like that to make sure the distributor has the right timing as well, becuase the cam itself is attached to both, correct me if I'm wrong.

i think this is correct

there should be a yellow cover over a conection on the drivers side fender take that off and use a jumper wire to conect them wat its suppose to do is all the little adjustments in the ecu are canceled out so u can time it properly try that and see if it works it took me a while on line and in a book to find it but its there if this is wat ur meanin
