we have B-series adjustable gears on ours - the B-series gears have a slightly different offset making the part of the gear that the belt rides on project out farther toward the driver's side of the car - consequently, the inside edge of the belt rides on the inside edge of the gear instaed of in the center - doesn't seem to be a problem - the most important thing about the B-series gears is that the timing marks on the gears for aligning the camshafts are not the same as the DOHC ZC - the marks on the left side of the gears as you look at them is in the same location on the B and ZC which makes the intake cam gear mark o.k. - the mark on the right side of the B-series gear is off one tooth from the ZC gear which means you need to put a new mark on the gear for the exhaust cam in order to align the cams correctly - the attached picture of the B-series gears shows where the mark needs to be added for the DOHC ZC

Ok, I checked and double checked. OBD-0 JDM ZC has 34 teeth, same as my OBD-1 D16A9 34 teeth as well. Both heads are the same.
