After I installed the Zex59300 cam I've noticed that my ignition timing was about 6-8deg advanced.
Rechecked the TDC vs. cam gear alignment and both are right at the mark where they are supposed to be. Even rotated the crank a few times to take up the tension. I've reset my timing back to where it is supposed to be by rotating distributor all the way forward. By reading the instructions that came with the new cam it said that cam is 6 degrees advanced for better performance. So I can assume that everything is shifted on purpose?
Would I benefit from an adjustable gear at all? I've notice improvements but always want more.
