I have an a6/y8 mini me, and recently it started to burn coolant, White smoke is coming out of the exhaust. So I checked the coolant and there was no oil in it, Then I checks the oil no coolant there so I'm assuming it's not the head gasket. I replaced the intake manifold gasket, which did not have any effect.

Any help would be great

well if you are puffing white smoke somehow coolant is entering the combustion chambers i would just as a precaution do a compression/leakdown test to completely rule out the possibility of the head gasket, (sometimes they leak just enough to drop some coolant in, but not enough to contaminate the oil supply........(I had a neon I know about the head gasket problem all to well.....)


Besides that check all coolant passages and seals like the above post stated.....
