https://flic.kr/p/2npXn8k Engine harness currently routed through heater core hole. I figured this would be the easiest/fastest way through. Could be a lot cleaner if I made a new hole but either way I still need a boot/grommet.
I’m short a few wires, going to make another order this week. Just trying to figure out what I still need. I might order an ECU mount from Checkerd Sports and just bolt the ECU horizontal right to the upper passenger foot well.
Also figuring out where to splice my sensor grounds and ignition leads. I can use reducer barrel crimps and join everything on the main trunk so when I bring them to the ECU header I only have two leads each instead of multiples. No real plan for this, just winging it.
Vacation week is over but I got quite a bit accomplished.

Man I wish this thing was going to be ready to go to Classic Honda's on the Dragon in October. Next year though?!?

https://flic.kr/p/2nrci47 I started wiring the coils last night.

I need to order some 1/8” DR-25 and then I can dive into the other engine sensors.

I also changed directions on the distributor wiring, again. Switching over to a 6 pin DTM connector.

Flex fuel sensor is not going as planned so I’m going to plumb everything in without it. I can figure out how to add it back in over the winter, or I can just start ordering pails of E85-R or X-85 and not even worry about it. Need to get this car up and running soon so some things may have to wait.

One favor. I know you're going to loom all the wiring, just make sure it doesn't get close to the stainless steel PTFE hoses there. If they touch, it will greatly adversely effect your wiring. Ask me how I know. Loomed wired is not enough. Loom it and then attach it to keep it from touching lol.

Everything looks tip top. For how long it was out I probably should have done more than just the stage 1 porting. I think I’m going to go ahead and use it instead of the Edelbrock though. It doesn’t have that funky angle at the opening and it’s lighter. Plus I’m pretty sure my Y series throttle cable bracket will bolt right up. I will need to chop off the barbs and drill/tap for NPT ports but that should be relatively easy.

It was definitely an ordeal getting it done. If you’re still down to port some stuff I can get both of the manifolds to you over the winter and you can chop them open and go to town.

PCI side skirts showed up yesterday too. I’ve got an order of DR-25 arriving tomorrow along with some 3/8” to -6 adapters to relocate the flex fuel sensor. I found a decent spot back by the tank. I may have to use cable ties to hold it for the time being but at this point the focus is getting the car on the road so I can break everything in. There will be more time to fix and improve stuff over the winter.

https://flic.kr/p/2nsLErE Manifold tapped for 1/8” NPT air fitting for FPR vacuum source and 1/4” NPT for brake booster vacuum source. I need to pick up a 1/16” NPT tap for the two smaller barbs. I should just go ahead and tap all the fittings now, otherwise I’ll need to cap off the unused barbs. None of my IAT sensors fit so I ran a M8x1.25 bolt in there for the time being.

https://flic.kr/p/2nsMTS8 Fuel rail fitted up using 10mm spacers. I need to shave them down to about 8mm.

https://flic.kr/p/2nsMTTf Shrink cut to length, I just need to recover it with the heat gun.

https://flic.kr/p/2nte5xZ Left side skirt fitted up. Still need to tighten everything down and bend up the lip on the body. Really just needed to mount these to get them off the floor and out of the way. I need to move the lawnmower to do the passenger side but need to finish bolting the fender down first.
I didn’t really think about it but these will make jacking the car up a little bit more involved.

Only a tad lol. If you pull the nose up on ramps, you can fit all kinds of things under there with relative ease (phrasing lol)

It is nice though that removing them if needed is only 3 bolts and an allen key away!

Looking good btw!

Once I add a front lip, I can’t see myself being able to roll up onto my quick ramps. Not really a big deal, like you said it’s only three bolts per side.
In other news, I goofed and forgot to add the thermostat ground into my engine harness, so I pulled it out last night to correct that issue. I only wasted like 12” of DR-25 and I ordered enough to redo what I cut out, so I’ve got that going for me. I pulled in a section of 10 AWG and I’ll use reducer splices to branch that out to the ECU and body plugs once I get it routed into the cabin.

https://flic.kr/p/2nu8SQR I didn’t notice until I was installing the passenger skirt but it looks like it was damaged during shipping. Some light scratches and a dent.

https://flic.kr/p/2nugz4F I’ll knock the dent out later, but for now both sides are on and secure.

https://flic.kr/p/2nufokT I had to reroute the oil line for the pressure sender so I added a -3AN 90° fitting off the block adapter.

https://flic.kr/p/2nugyWm Still plugging away at the harness. I ran my grounds to the TSTAT housing. I need to shrink the bundles together and get them all through the firewall, then I can start separating the leads out and getting them all dressed in nicely.

Radium hanger shipped out on Thursday. I’m hoping to have the fuel system buttoned up by next weekend then I can pressurize the system and check for leaks. I need to get the exhaust bolted back together then I can get the wheels on and get the car off the jack stands.
I got some adhesion promoter and primer and some more 2k clear so I can hopefully get the bumper sprayed this weekend.
Tons of little shit still left to do like bleed the brakes and fill up the fluids.
