Thanks! At some point I’d like to go PDM and stand alone like Haltech. There’s a lot of unnecessary wiring in the car now and I could shed some more weight and complexity by ditching the factory fuse box and harness.

https://flic.kr/p/2mTJ2Yg Tank vent and fuel lines removed. I wound up chopping the hard lines to get them clear of the subframe. I felt so bad cutting the lines since I know somewhere one of our Canadian brothers probably has a rusty one, but I wasn’t in the mood to drop the k member. Vent setup will be replaced with vacuum version from a 96, once I find one.

Had to move the prop valve up a little bit to get the exit angles of the lines right. Need to drill six holes to install my bulkheads and then I can make my interior connections and secure the hoses.

https://flic.kr/p/2mUohvZ Bulkheads drilled and installed finger tight. I’m going to have to phone a friend for assistance getting them snugged up. Still need to drill the bulkheads for the front lines. I want to add a 45° AN fitting off the brake booster and intake manifold and use braided AN line to connect them. Would have to drill/tap the IM and figure out how to get the check valve installed.

https://flic.kr/p/2mUrtzd Headlight harness is pulled. I’ve got all new terminals, connectors, and wire to make a new one. No more spilt loom and solder joints. I’m going to pull the wiper wires back in the cabin and tuck them out of the way. There are 8 wires I need so I’ll be using a 10-pin connector to add two leads in case I want to add anything in the future.

Thanks bro. It’s still a ways off from being done but I’m plugging away almost every day.

https://flic.kr/p/2mULxEA I pulled a short run of 10 AWG through to the passenger fender well and added a 30A fuse and holder. This will be the power feed for some relays, one for the HID system and one for the radiator fan.

https://flic.kr/p/2mUQjRR Wiper wires fed back into the cabin and I started crimping pins for the headlight harness connector. I’m debating on whether to bring the boost control solenoid through with the headlight harness or bring it through with the engine harness. It’ll be cleaner going through the headlight harness but it’s more wire to run across the cabin and over to the ECU. Decisions decisions

https://flic.kr/p/2mURUTr Axles are finally out. Three bolts left and the motor will come out.

https://flic.kr/p/2mUN8zn I finished crimping the headlight harness pins. I need to sleeve the wires before seating the connector.

https://flic.kr/p/2mUNJgi I decided to wire the MAC solenoid in with the headlight harness. Here’s the leads ready to go. I’ll need to order the solenoid and figure out where to install it before I can wire these in.

https://flic.kr/p/2mXneTT Temp in the garage tonight. 1 of my 4 fluorescent fixtures took half an hour to ignite, one never really did. I probably should have installed LEDs instead.

https://flic.kr/p/2mXs7sE Lug nuts showed up Tuesday. They were ordered August 22nd.

https://flic.kr/p/2mXtQYY Ordered some different colored tapes for my DYMO and started labeling stuff.

Not much else done. Still planning wire runs and gathering parts.
