😍 😍 😍 😍 matching the manifolds?
Gasket matched. If I can’t find an Edelbrock IM pretty soon then I will be sending my Y8 IM to Cole for some port work.

I can't seem to find my stock photos of exhaust ports to compare with, but I feel those ports look pretty beefy
It wasn’t an insane port job and there is surely room for improvement, but it should outflow the stock head. I can’t wait to hit the rollers and get some numbers for you guys.

I think I’m going to send my stock Z6 cam to Delta for a regrind, so I’ll be able to compare the 272-2 and 59300 eventually.

The torquer X is a nice upgrade over any of the stock manifolds, ive gotten to play with a few, living vicariously through other people's wallets. A bit over priced for a new one though.

https://flic.kr/p/2mavCyU More parts arrived today. Pressure plate bolts, fuel pump hanger gasket, and alternator mount bolt. I also got all the front windshield trim parts but didn’t take pics since it’s juts boring brown boxes.
I also placed another order with Downstar for some bolts I still need and I went ahead and ordered the weld in firewall plug kit for whenever I finally get to the body work portion of this project.

https://flic.kr/p/2maTDzN Bolts and firewall plugs came in today. HondaPartsNow order is scheduled to arrive tomorrow. I figure I should buy a torque wrench and some assembly lube here pretty soon and start prepping the head. I still need to order a crank damper but the block isn’t back yet so no rush. I was thinking I may as well slap a crank scraper in there as well so I should probably order that soon.

https://flic.kr/p/2mb1n9M A few more pieces of the puzzle. Tensioner spring stud, tensioner bolt, and oil pan gasket. I’m like 99% complete on parts now. Getting a little giddy

I also ordered a trick little Bluetooth module from FABTLPC. It plugs straight into the OEM radio harness, tucks away behind the dash, and provides 2-channel audio. It’s perfect for my setup because I only run front speakers and this way I can ditch the Alpine CD player that’s in the car and access the endless music on my iPhone. I’ll post a review once I get it installed.

https://flic.kr/p/2mbthTE Finally starting on the fuel pump. I got the power feed and old return chopped off of the hanger. I’ll have to do some measuring/drilling/cutting/bending to get the fitting and bulkhead installed, then I’ll disassemble everything and get it blasted and coated. I ordered a new pump sock today too.

https://flic.kr/p/2mbthTp Soaking the main seal housing in degreaser. I’ll get it all cleaned up tomorrow and then install the new studs, dowels, and seal.

Assembly lube has been ordered so I’ll get to work on putting the head together at some point.
