While youre back in time, grab me a few 4x8' sheets of plywood or pressure treated 2x8"x12' joists lol
Right? I have some time off of work in June and wanted to hang some OSB in the garage but it’s WAY too expensive right now.

https://flic.kr/p/2kZAjr7 Okay so this is why I like to plan stuff early. I totally forgot the flex fuel sensor! The wheels are normal now too, and I added wiring.

https://flic.kr/p/2kZBQDv Today was Take Your Whip To Work Day for me. This was the longest time it’s been out of the garage in 2 years.

https://flic.kr/p/2kZwnxY More cleaning the valve cover tonight and I started sanding the distributor housing as well. Test polished a little patch to see what I’m working with. I’ll need to order more sandpaper and felts.

upgrade your fuel pump wiring while youre there.
Fuel pump wiring will for sure be upgraded. And once I’m able to time travel I’ll be able to get parts at pre-pandemic prices.
Damn those Walbro 450's suck some amps!

Love the diagrams, it's a great way to get a system right in your head. I also use Google Sheets to make lists of parts i need/tasks i need to do etc. Really cuts down the time spent waiting for parts to arrive if it's all planned out at the start.

https://flic.kr/p/2m1thCT Honda parts came in. Tensioner kit, distributor o-rings, and dowels

https://flic.kr/p/2m1thD4 JB Tuned parts came in. Block fitting, fuel pump hanger kit, and IAT bung.

Still sanding the distributor housing to prep for polishing. And I’m slacking on boxing up the valve cover to send to Greg.

For which part?

I am going to be using Go Autoworks for the turbo kit and valve cover venting.

No real reason other than availability. I am currently running their half rad and I will be getting my turbo kit from them along with some other odds and ends.
I’m trying to support DSO members along the way. Dustin @ Performance Porting has my head right now and Chris @ WDR is who I’d like to send my tranny to.

No worries slo.

https://flic.kr/p/2m2C6wR Dizzy housing is polished up. I still need to clean the little crevices and then reassemble it. I bought the Dorman seal kit before I realized I could buy the NOK BH3888 seal from eBay.
Bearing seems nice and smooth with no play and I didn’t have the dreaded red dust inside so I’ll hold off and replacing that.

I’m trying to hit some junkyards this week and next since I’m off work until the 14th.

https://flic.kr/p/2m3avcd Found another Z6 valve cover at the junkyard. Anybody need one? I have four right now, with one finally going out tomorrow for bungs.

https://flic.kr/p/2m31mPg The yard had a 95 EX coupe and the motor was surprisingly still in it. It was missing the VTEC solenoid, ECU and ECU plugs, and the aftermarket distributor had been opened and cannibalized. I was going to pull the alternator brackets but of course I didn’t have the right wrenches on me. I was only there to pull 99-00 fenders and of course I did not find any worth a shit. I did pull some 96-00 coupe/hatch tweeters. I’m going to throw all my extra parts up for sale on Facebook tomorrow and try to get some space in the garage.

I saw that you were selling your turbo stuff. What are your plans for the engine?
I decided to go forged pistons instead of Vitaras and a Bad Guys oil pump instead of porting my stock unit. Boost is still the plan.

Dude, where abouts are you located?

If you are somewhat close, I'd be down to drive to pull up a chair to that dyno session and watch :)

If you make 500whp, ill eat 500 chips in celebration haha.
I’m in Maryland but I’d like to have Jeff Evans tune the car. So if you can make it to Mt. Bethel, PA I will bring the chair and the chips.
