Got some new buddy clubs for my Ef. For some reason my rear dropped a lot more than my front did. Rear is tucked nicely, but front still has about quarter inch Gao from tire and fender. I turned bottom perch all the way to "max" drop and still nothing.. anyway to lower further??
Heavier spring rate in the front? Generally speaking, coils settle when they are fresh, heavier coils take longer and don't drop as much...You could try some hard turning and see if it helps them settle a bit.
I'm not familiar with Buddy Club, are they not a threaded style coil-over? If they are springs only and they have settled, you would have to cut them to lower the car more.
Another possible option is to get Koni struts, I believe the mounting point for the spring seat has a 3 position index, enabling you to lower the car by dropping the spring perch a notch lower on the strut.
Personally for a spirited daily driver I am going to run a "2 finger gap" this should let you feel the benefits of lowering your vehicle without sacrificing too much ride comfort or bottoming out on every little bump. hella functional > hella flush. So my advice to you is just raise the rear then.
