yup, there it is. its a crappy picture but that piece is not supposed to be like that. besides that, everything else is clean. while im replacing that i might as well get a rebuild kit and freshen this bad boy up. any pointers, or crazy things i might run into that the haynes manual doesnt explain?

tranzex, you were right. it was the 1-2 fork. i looked it up on hondapartsdeals and its only like $55+shipping, which to me isnt bad because i like to buy new to give me that peace of mind. cool thing is, i could use the shifter fork off of my 4 speed transmission. they are the same honda part numbers. but im going with brand new.

fucking damnit...........board went bonkers!!!!!!!!!!!!!

replace ISB/Seal/washer, 1-2 fork and be done. $90 in parts + S&H, I charge $160-175 including parts, tranny brought to me

look at them, if not missing any teeth (some are missing from the factory) and they look good, don't worry.

My last broken 1-2 shift fork wiped out the synchro........it's the only D series synchro I've ever had to replace.



Remember I did a group buy on synchros 5 years ago, wiped out 4 warehouses!
