Hopefully this is the right forum for this topic. My 92 Civic had a blown head gasket earlier this year, and I just recently (within the last month) was able to have it fixed. The car has been having issues ever since I got it back from the mechanic though.

The main problem is the the car is losing oil pressure when it gets warmed up and is idling. I believe the mechanic said it is dropping down to aroun 8 or 10 psi. He keeps suggesting that I just put heavier oil in it, but that seems like a BS way to cover up a crappy repair job. However, I am not an expert on this stuff. Is poor oil pressure a common problem after a head gasket has blown even if it is repaired right?

oil pressure is around 8-10 psi at idle anyway, whats this mechanic talking about?? now 8-10 psi above 3k and we got a big problem and unless the mechanic installed a defective headgasket it should not be from that
