blah! my idle is borked and i have no multimeter to test a bunch of factors with so i'm hoping some of you might have an idea that works. all i know right now is that there's no vac leaks, IACV is clean and working, ECU is fine.

this is a stock d16y7 and the idle is kind of odd. yesterday it was high, today it was ehhh a bit high but settled fairly well at 900~ rpm but when the engine's heated up it plays a bit funky. basically, i nudge the throttle and let it go it drops to 900 and stays for a second or two then plummets to 450-500 and hangs there. hasn't stalled out, just seems to be hanging on the fringe. ideas?

yeah don't have that one.. well, except on the tb that's lying on the garage floor heh. everything else was working fine and i fixed the vac leak problem i first had and also the IACV problem i thought i had, so i guess all that remains in mystery is the crusty junkyard alternator i recently installed. ARRRGHHHH. guess i have to get a multimeter after all :(
