inorder to boost a d16z6 is it recommened to upgrade your stock internals. cam shafts, pistions, etc.

or would it be fine to just use stock internals with only 6-8 lbs of boost.

read up on the basics of turbo charging first....

lbs of boost is irrelevent without the size of turbo...

6-8 would be fine on a small turbo... on a large turbo you might want to start changing internals... it all depends on what kind of whp you are going to put out

.. I'd say the most critical part (aside from essential tune)
have a solid ignition.

Maybe overkill but still, I'd invest in an ignition booster/controller to be on the safe side.

dumb question , Sexicivic2000 , 'cause I'm gonna google it anyway: What's that black car in the pic .. looks like a cross between an EP (Si) & CRX .. that's the new Type-R?

some arp headstuds wouldn't hurt, to prevent headlift...
a good tune prevents this "headlift" your talking about. your "headlift" is actually the cylinders vibrating from detonation from the bad tunes that people get.

:bull: stock distributor, OEM wires and fresh plugs own all

uhh...why?

stock Honda ignition is efficient to about 400hp, provided its maintained
